Project description

The revitalization of Rittergut Rabenstein, the historic town center of Rabenstein, is making further progress. Following the renovation of the historic granary with 9 owner-occupied apartments and the construction of 4 Aktivsonnen houses on the Anger areas, three manor houses were built at the northern entrance. In the fourth construction phase, 10 Aktivsonnen houses were built on the sheep meadows, while the manor house was prepared for later renovation. The former farm barn was converted into modern residential buildings in two construction phases: Hofscheune I with 6 apartments was completed in 2020, Hofscheune II with 7 apartments followed in summer 2022. All buildings integrate solar thermal energy for sustainable energy supply. The manor is located in the green Chemnitz district of Rabenstein, close to the Rabenstein-Center, the forest, the castle and the reservoir, with excellent transport links and local amenities.
