The "country" active sun houses offer generous living space of approx. 150 m² for families on two levels. They include a large terrace, a carport for two cars, a garden shed and optional elegant larch wood cladding in country house style. The houses use solar thermal energy for heating and hot water, making them energy-independent. With a solar storage tank that stores the heat for several weeks, around 90 % of the energy requirement is covered by the sun, the rest can be supplemented by a wood-burning stove or pellet heating. The house is built using traditional solid construction methods with high-quality materials and ecological insulation.
